ELEONORA NICOLETTI
Concerns over climate change have raised the need for zero- and positive-energy buildings as well as for more livable cities.
As an architect and academic, I research technologies and processes for designs that improve the perceptual quality of spaces as well as buildings' energy performance. After my studies at IUAV University of Venice, I worked on art and designs for public spaces in Europe, the United States, and Qatar, and completed an interdisciplinary Ph.D. project on designing solar architectural skins for visual engagement.
My work has explored innovative technologies as well as simulation-based and participatory approaches for communicative designs oriented towards meeting zero- and positive-energy building standards. With a broad research interest in architectural design, media and renewable energy, I welcome opportunities for cross-boundary collaboration.
I currently work at UWE Bristol where I can be contacted here.
